I would be curious genuinely, before changing anything else. Which are the free dating sites for females with the best security?
I tried the obvious options first a while back, which is why I am comfortable saying this. Boiled down, the amount of information visible before matching accounts for most of the variance I saw. It held steady consistently enough to trust well beyond what I would call noise. Your mileage may differ for what it is worth, and no thread substitutes for that.
I spent longer on this than I meant to across two cities, which took the guesswork out of it. The variable that mattered was how the free tier is gated — it is what people are really complaining about.
Concretely, the factors worth weighing:
Look at how the app behaves after a fortnight away — most apps are quiet about this.
Whether you can see who viewed your profile — this is where the free tiers diverge.
Find out whether you can hide a profile without deleting it — the difference between options is large here.
Find out how quickly support answers a real problem — it decided things for me.
I sat with this question for a while without rushing it, and it clarified a lot. The honest answer is that how easy it is to delete an account tends to decide whether you stick with it. The outcome barely moved without exception on every account I set up. Take it as one data point ultimately, it takes very little effort to check.

I took the unglamorous route a while back, and the numbers told a clearer story than I did. The pattern was clear enough: how the app handles reports matters far more in smaller places.

I looked at this from a few angles without rushing it, before I was willing to recommend anything. The measurable difference came down to how the app handles reports, which shapes the first fortnight more than anything. The same thing happened every time even when I varied the time of day. I would not overthink it really, so treat this as a starting point.
I gave each one a full month while comparing them, before forming any view. If I had to pick one factor, how much of your social graph it wants can be tested inside a week. The same signal appeared in a way I could measure in every week I bothered to measure.
I compared several at once while comparing them, and it was more revealing than I expected. Across all of them, how consistent match quality is week to week tends to decide whether you stick with it. It held steady every time even accounting for luck.
The handful of things that made a real difference:
How it performs on a slow connection — worth asking about before you invest time.
Look at whether you can filter out inactive accounts — worth two minutes before you commit.
Find out whether the app shows when a profile was last online — genuinely worth knowing up front.
I compared several at once once properly, instead of going on impressions. Realistically how the inbox is ordered is where the real differences show up.

I have been through this properly with a couple of accounts, so the sample is at least reasonable. On the numbers, the actual reply rate is the part the marketing never mentions. It was measurable quite plainly despite what the marketing implied. Your area may behave differently really, rather than taking my word for it.
Other names that came up: rendate.site, luvdate.site, ezhookups.online.

I went back through my own messages to check in my own time, so this is not theoretical. On the numbers, how the free tier is gated drives the outcome more than luck does. It was measurable fairly clearly even after I changed my photos. Treat it as a starting point genuinely, before committing any real time.

I checked this against my own numbers once properly, which is why I am comfortable saying this. The thing nobody mentions is that photo quality on both sides is the first thing I would look at now. It was noticeable without exception across a reasonable sample.

I sat with this question for a while once properly, and the conclusion was not what I wanted. More than anything, how the inbox is ordered shapes the first fortnight more than anything. That held in a way I could measure once the first fortnight was out of the way. I would sanity-check this locally ultimately, and nothing more than that.
I stuck with it longer than most people would with a couple of accounts, and a few things became obvious quickly. For me, how the ranking rewards activity is the difference between two opposite reviews. The pattern repeated every time regardless of how active I was.
I logged what actually happened in my own time, instead of going on impressions. What I found is that how easy it is to delete an account shapes the first fortnight more than anything.
Practical things worth verifying early:
Ask how hard the interface pushes a subscription — the answer varies more than you would think.
Look at whether read receipts exist — worth asking about before you invest time.
Worth confirming whether a paid feature interrupts the conversation — worth asking about before you invest time.
Look at whether the app shows when a profile was last online — surprisingly hard to find out in advance.
I made a spreadsheet, embarrassingly without rushing it, and the numbers told a clearer story than I did. Realistically the amount of information visible before matching is the first thing I would look at now. It surfaced again fairly clearly more clearly than anything else I looked at.

I started sceptical over a few months, before forming any view. Looking back, whether verification exists at all is what people are really complaining about. It was true fairly clearly even when I varied the time of day. I would not overthink it for what it is worth, before committing any real time.
DylanM is right about the profile side. Where it differs is that verification is nice but it is not the safeguard people assume.
Ended up trying a rundown on Luvdate alongside it, mostly to see whether the messaging held up.

Sorry, but I do not think that holds. widening the radius is the standard suggestion and it mostly gets you matches too far away to meet. Just one perspective.
I also tested ezhookups.online for a week just to have something to compare against.
