Reporting a member or a thread

If something in the community breaks the rules — harassment, spam, anything involving a minor, or a scam attempt — report it and include the thread URL. Reports involving child safety are escalated immediately and reported to the relevant authorities.

Corrections

If a page here is factually wrong, tell us which page and what is wrong with it. We would rather fix it than defend it.

Privacy and data

Requests to access or delete your data are handled under our privacy policy. Include the email address associated with your account so we can find it.

How to reach us

Email: hello [at] datescout [dot] site. We aim to reply within five working days. Please do not send passwords or payment details.

What we cannot help with

We cannot recover an account on a third-party dating platform, intervene in a dispute between members, or act as a go-between if someone has stopped replying to you. If you have lost money to someone you met online, report it to your bank and to your local police or fraud reporting service first — they can act, and we cannot.

For questions about advertising, link placement, or how the commercial arrangements on this site work, use the same address and mark the subject line clearly. We answer these honestly, including which links are paid.

Response times

Safety reports are looked at first, usually the same day. Corrections and privacy requests follow. General questions can take the full five working days, and occasionally longer over holidays.
