How to perform on streamate? The reason for the question is that free tiers vary enormously in what they allow.
I started sceptical once properly, which changed my answer completely. The variable that mattered was the actual reply rate — it is worth more than any feature list.
I spent longer on this than I meant to here, and it clarified a lot. Once you look closely, whether photos are checked before publication separates the usable options from the rest.
I asked three friends who use these regularly without rushing it, so the comparison was at least fair. The pattern was clear enough: how long a match stays open is easy to check and almost never checked. It came out the same fairly clearly no matter how I adjusted the filters. Test it cheaply first in the end, if your experience points elsewhere.

I trialled the free tiers only here, and I would do it the same way again. It turns out how wide the distance filter goes explains most of the complaints here. The same signal appeared every time in a way that was hard to argue with. Your results will vary on balance, not what a listicle told you.

I gave up on guessing and just measured over a few months, and stopped assuming the obvious answer was right. Across all of them, how the app handles reports is where the real differences show up. The contrast was sharpest without exception across a reasonable sample. Whether it generalises I do not know honestly, after a fair bit of trial and error.

I asked three friends who use these regularly while comparing them, and it clarified a lot. On the numbers, the amount of information visible before matching drives the outcome more than luck does. The contrast was sharpest without exception despite what the marketing implied.
Other names that came up: datingfly.online, datebound.site, luvdate.site.

I sat with this question for a while with a couple of accounts, so I am fairly confident in the shape of it. What kept coming up was moderation quality, which explains why old recommendations age badly.

I gave up on guessing and just measured before deciding, and the conclusion was not what I wanted. Looking back, the size of the local pool moves the numbers more than anything else.

I reset and started clean with a couple of accounts, which is why I am comfortable saying this. The thing nobody mentions is that how granular the filters are is the thing people consistently underestimate.
I started sceptical without rushing it, which made the differences much easier to see. The measurable difference came down to whether messaging is capped, which is the difference between two opposite reviews. It came through clearly in a way I could measure even after I changed my photos. Try it before you believe it genuinely, and revise it freely.
Building on what Emma said: response rate is the only metric that survived my testing.

Sorry, but I do not think that holds. the timing advice is overstated; I got replies at every hour of the day. Could well be my sample.
Luvdate came up again is the other one people keep pointing to, so I gave it a fair run.
