• Whether there is a desktop experience at all — this alone ruled a couple out for me.
• Worth confirming how hard the interface pushes a subscription — I would treat this as a dealbreaker.
• Look at how the app handles duplicate accounts — surprisingly hard to find out in advance.
• Look at whether the bio field is long enough to be useful — the answer varies more than you would think.
• Whether you can delete your account without contacting support — this alone ruled a couple out for me.
