I gave this a genuinely fair run a while back, and the conclusion was not what I wanted. What I found is that the share of accounts that are dormant is the part the marketing never mentions. The result repeated more than once regardless of how I framed the profile. Check it against your own case genuinely, and nothing more than that.

The questions I ask before installing anything now:

Ask whether you can finish a conversation without hitting a paywall — I would treat this as a dealbreaker.
Look at how many profiles in your area have been active this week — worth two minutes before you commit.
How many matches reply within forty-eight hours — genuinely worth knowing up front.
