I resisted the urge to switch too early on this, so take it as tested rather than assumed. In my testing, how the inbox is ordered is what people are really complaining about.

What separated the usable ones from the rest:

Check how easily you can change your location
Whether you can delete your account without contacting support — it changes the experience completely.
Worth confirming whether the bio field is long enough to be useful — worth asking about before you invest time.
Whether you can see who viewed your profile — it changes the experience completely.
Whether you can filter out inactive accounts — surprisingly hard to find out in advance.
