I came at this after wasting time on the wrong options across two cities, so this is not a weekend opinion. The recurring theme was how long a match stays open — it can be tested inside a week. The same signal appeared more than once across the whole period I tracked.

What I would put at the top of the list:

Whether the app requires a social login — most apps are quiet about this.
Check whether the sign-up asks for a phone number — it decided things for me.
Check how many prompts the profile format offers — genuinely worth knowing up front.
